Crocodile Rock

Crocodile Rock is Ella's new music class. Today was her first day. The class is run by a woman who plays guitar, sings songs, and interacts with the children. Ella was in class with about 15 other kids. She absolutely loved it. She played with puppets, music instruments and other props. Ella's favorite song right now is, "If your Happy and you Know it..." even though she doesn't quite understand stomping her feet instead she squats down. We are looking forward to next week's class.

Doctors Appt.

Yesterday I had my last ultrasound with my high risk doctor. The ultrasound showed that my fluid is still normal and the blood flow is great. Noah actually put on some weight and the doctor was pretty pleased with his growth over the last three weeks. His belly is still very small and the doctor recommended inducing me at 39 weeks. After my ultrasound, I had my non stress test, which was great, then I saw my normal doctor. She scheduled my induction for May 27th at 7:30 in the morning. My doctors still want me to have weekly non stress tests, if at any time between now and the 27th Noah is under stress then they will induce earlier. As of today, Noah will be here in exactly four weeks. Gabe, Ella, and I can't wait. This has been a challenging pregnancy and I just thank God that I was able to carry Noah for this long. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers.

Getting Ready for Noah

Now that I am almost 35 weeks pregnant I thought we better get Noah's nursery finished. Today Gabe hung decorations on the walls, even though the walls are painted yet. I can't decide on what color to go with, I'm thinking blue or green. I think we'll wait to paint once Noah comes and Gabe has time off from work. I've washed towels, blankets, and some of his clothes. I've even packed my hospital bag. Now all we need is Noah himself. Five weeks left and counting...

Doctors Appt.

Today I had my second non stress test. The doctor places two separate monitors on my belly to measure Noah's movements and heart rate. According to the test, he is doing good. The doctors recommend me doing this every week until he is born. If at any point he seems under stress, I'll be induced early. I have another ultrasound scheduled for next Monday. The doctors want to keep monitoring Noah's growth. I'll keep everyone updated. Please keep us in your prayers.

We had another beautiful day today and I thought we should take advantage of it. Here in Colorado, April is the 3rd snowiest month. First she colored with her new sidewalk chalk. She didn't quite get the idea of drawing on the ground because she kept drawing on the walls and columns on our front porch. Next Ella and her daddy flew a kite. Ella was doing a great job all by herself, until she let go. She waved and said, "bye-bye." Lastly she ate a Popsicle. Being a kid is so much fun and I know Ella had a great time today.

Rough and Tough

Today was such a gorgeous day. We spent most of the day at the park and in our front yard. Ella loves going down the slide at the park. She was so excited to be at the park that while she was running to get to the slide she totally face planted. Once we got home, she was running to play with the last bit of snow left on the ground and ate it again!! Now she has a scraped face and two scraped knees. Even though she got hurt she didn't shed one tear. Boy is she a tough little girl!!!

Our bathing beauty

One of Ella's favorite things to do is play in the bathtub. I swear she was born half fish. She can play until the water is freezing cold and she stills wants to stay and play. Here are some pictures of her making a masterpiece on the bathroom wall.

And I thought it was spring

Yesterday we got hit with a "spring storm." It snowed most of the day and Ella and I stayed in our pajamas, since we couldn't go outside. We ended up with about 4-6 inches. The rest of the week is suppose to be really nice, in the lows 70s. I'll just keep my fingers crossed. Here are some pictures of my front patio, our front yard, and poor Ella (bored and wanting to go outside).

The doctor wants to keep monitoring me and Noah. I have another ultrasound on April 28th. Please keep us in your prayers.

Ella's New Toy

These pictures were taken yesterday. It was 65 degrees here and we took advantage of the warmth and sunshine. We just bought Ella this new ride on toy and she wants to ride it all the time, even inside the house. She calls it her "weeee." She LOVES being outside.
