Overall twins

Here are some pictures of the kids in their overalls. Ella loves Noah so much, she always wants to hug and kiss him. Any time I try to take a picture of Noah, Ella jumps right in. She has to do everything he does. It is so cute but I know that won't last.

Fun at the Pool

The past couple of weeks the weather here has been a little crazy, hot days, cold days, rainy days, and thunderstorms. So today we tried to enjoy some of the last days of summer before fall comes. We took the kids to the pool, where Noah slept and Ella splashed around. We had a great time.

He's getting so big...

It's amazing to me how fast they grow at this age. Next week Noah will be 3 months old. Where does the time go?

Summer Weather

Summers in Colorado are unpredictable. It has been in the mid 80s lower 90s but almost every afternoon we get thunderstorms with rain. But today we got a hail storm. It didn't last very long but the hail was the size of a pea.

Bye-bye bobbies

Two weeks ago today was Ella's 2nd birthday. For about a month before her birthday we started telling her that on her birthday she had to throw her bobbies (pacifiers) in the trash. We told her that she was going to be a big girl and that big girls don't use bobbies. So on her birthday we told her it was time. At first she held it and put it in her mouth with a few tears she cried and said, "No, mama." We explained it was time to kiss her bobbies bye-bye. She said, "Okay, bye bobby!" One by one she kissed the pacifier and threw it in the trash. She had five to kiss goodbye. The night of her birthday she asked for it but we reminded her that she threw them all away. Ever since she hasn't shed one tear or even asked for them. It was so much easier than we thought, thankfully. Now she is a big girl!!
