Noah rolls over!!!

He's just about to roll over
He just rolled over
Today Noah is 4 months old. Today he also rolled over for the first time. He went from his tummy to his back. This is just the first step to him sitting up, crawling and walking. The time goes by so fast.

We went to Legoland for the first time with Marcos, Denise and Jacob. Legoland is geared more for smaller kids so Jacob and Ella had a blast. They were able to ride most of the rides. Everything in the park is really made out of legos. It was amazing to me how much legos it took to make all the animals and buildings. There was a part of the park called miniland USA. There they had mini replicas of San Francisco, New York, and Las Vegas to name a few. We had beautiful beach weather and great time.

Fall in Colorado
Our family decided to take a road trip to California. I know what you're thinking and you're right, we are crazy!!! We left Tuesday, September 16th and returned home today. We drove over 1000 miles one way, through 5 states, and spent over 16 hours driving. The kids were surprisingly good considering all the time they spent in the car. I will be posting more pictures from the trip tomorrow.

Neighborhood BBQ

Today our townhouse community had its yearly BBQ. Our whole complex was invited. They barbecued cheeseburgers and provided drinks and everyone brought a dish to share. We baked chocolate chip cookies and took those to share. We had beautiful weather and visited with our neighbors.

Noah's Friend

Today Noah had his first play date. Honestly the play date was for the moms instead of the boys. Since neither boy can sit up yet. This is Noah's friend, Talon. He is exactly three weeks younger but is heavier and taller than Noah. Talon and his mommy came and visited for the day. We all had a great time. I hope these boys grow up being great friends.

Ella's New Haircut

Ella's new haircut
Cheese!!!
View from the back
Last night, Gabe and I decided that Ella should get a real haircut. She has had many trims where we cut off maybe half an inch at a time. Her was already to the middle of her back and was getting harder to maintain. She got about 3 inches cut off. I had the worst stomach ache while it was getting cut. I kept getting second thoughts but now that it is done I love it. I think she looks like a little girl now.

Sunday Fun

More kisses

On Sunday we went to the park and spent most of the day outside. Thankfully we had beautiful weather. Once Labor day hit, fall instantly came here in Colorado. It has been cool and overcast. I'm loving the change of seasons. On Sunday Ella couldn't stop kissing Noah. She squishes his face every time. At least she isn't beating him up.
