On Ella actual birthday, Ella was running a fever and not feeling well. She ended up spending part of the night with us, which explains the first picture. Ella opened some presents and then we took her out to breakfast. We came home got ready for Sea World and sang Ella Happy Birthday. She ate her cupcake and then went to Sea World. We were only there a few hours before we left because Ella was getting worse. It was sad to see Ella sick on her birthday but she was better in time for her party!!!
Happy Birthday, my sweet girl!!!

My baby is THREE!!!

At birth
One week old
3 months old
5 months old
1 year old
18 months old
2 1/2 years old
Almost 3
Last week
It was a very hot, I mean VERY hot day, 121 degrees to be exact, in Phoenix, Arizona, where we welcomed our first child, a beautiful baby girl, Ella Grace. A mere 6 lb, she was our miracle baby. As many of you know, when I was four months pregnant, Gabe was diagnosed with testicular cancer. We were told that they were surprised we even conceived while he had cancer. She was truly a blessing from God. Ella is the most affectionate child I have ever seen. She always gives hugs and kisses and tells us how much she loves us. She surprises me everyday with how smart she is. She made me a mother and for that I will always be thankful to her.
Happy Birthday to you,
Happy Birthday to you,
Happy Birthday
dear ELLA
Happy Birthday to you!!!
We love you,
Daddy, Mommy and
Noah

My date with Ella

My dinner....YUMMY :)
Ella drinking coke...shhhhh, don't tell her Daddy!!

Tonight I wanted to go to In-N-Out. Gabe did not. We compromised with me and Ella going and Noah and Gabe staying at home. Ella and myself got some much needed time alone. We ate dinner including a chocolate shake, of course, you can't go to In-N-Out without getting a shake, and then went to Target. I love spending alone time with Ella, she always puts a smile on my face :)

We went to Sea World today. It was so hot, like 85!!! Hahaha, living in San Diego now, 85 degrees is hot! We watched Shamu and the kids played in the new Sesame Street play area. We only went to a small portion of the part, we probably are going back for Ella's birthday next week. Stay tuned for more posts to come...
