Being the parents to two little kids means not getting much alone time. Gabe and I have only been on a few dates, three to be exact, in the past two and a half years. The main reason being that we haven't lived near any family until now. I asked my mom to come over on Saturday night and watch Ella and Noah while Gabe and I got some much needed time alone. First we went to a spa and got 45 minute long pedicures and I got a manicure. Then we went to Olive Garden and enjoyed a quiet meal. We had a fabulous time, I think my mom should watch the kids every Saturday night!!! So mom, what do you say????

I do have a life you know. I love watching my grandchildren but not driving to San Diego in Grandpa truck. Maybe if you bring them here . Something to think about.

Yay date night! I am so excited for you guys. Too bad you don't live in Texas you would have plenty of babysitters.
