San Diego Wild Animal Park

Our San Diego zoo annual passes also work for the Wild Animal Park. I had seen on the zoo website that the Wild Animal Park was having a special butterfly exhibit and I thought Ella would love it. Today we went to check it out. The butterfly exhibit was amazing. When you walk in you instantly see butterflies flying over your head, sitting on flowers and even on the walkway. While we were in the exhibit a butterfly even landing on Gabe's head but he was holding the camera so of course we didn't get a picture of it. We also went to feed the birds. I swear Gabe was like a bird man and the birds just went to him. Even when we went to leave Gabe tried to pass his bird off to someone else, the bird wouldn't leave him!!! We only saw a very small portion of the park so there will be more trips and more posts to come!

Point Loma tidepools

Today we went to the point Loma tidepools located inside the Cabrillo National park. We saw fish, anemones, and crabs. It was amazing to walk around and see all these little sea creatures. Ella had a love hate relationship with the tidepools. First she didn't want to touch the anemones because they were "yucky" and then she loved holding the little crabs. Even Noah was interested in the tidepools. It was an amazing day!!!

My Kids Clubhouse

Today it was so windy we weren't going to our neighborhood playground. So my neighbor, Tammy, and I thought it would be fun to take the kids to My Kids Clubhouse. It had tons of toys, an enormous playground, a rock climbing wall and a ball pit. The kids didn't stop for one minute. All 3 kids were a little overwhelmed because there was so much to do, see, and play with, they didn't know what to do and when to do it!!!
